With the support of Rosneft, the Sretensky Monastery Choir held their anniversary concert «We Have Only One Russia» at the Oktyabrsky Grand Concert Hall in Saint Petersburg. The event was held to celebrate the creative team’s 30th anniversary.

Rosneft has supported the Sretensky Monastery Choir for over 10 years. During this time, the band has enjoyed great success on many concert tours of Russian cities. Past performances include «Unholy Saints», «The Romanovs», «Russia: Move Forward!», «Masterpieces of World Culture», «Life», and «Songs of Our Parents».

During the anniversary concert, the choir performed unique pieces of spiritual music, as well as beloved songs that captured the most important milestones in our country’s history, to the delight of the audience. Among them are «Let’s Pray for Our Parents», «Hope», «I Love You, Life», «Horse», «Black Raven», and others. Other well-known musicians from our country also performed at the concert.

The sold-out anniversary concert attracted more than 3,700 spectators. The audience sang along with the choir, then gave the musicians a standing ovation.

With the support of Rosneft, the Sretensky Monastery choir presented a musical performance entitled «Dedicated to the Great Victory», prepared for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The new music programme aims to preserve the memory of heroic events. This project brings together some of the most famous works from the war years. The production is based on true stories about heroes who travelled hundreds of miles from Moscow to Berlin during the war. The programme includes concerts in 24 cities across the regions in which the Company operates. The tour will end on 3 July with a concert in Sochi. In addition, open-air concerts were held on 8 May at the observation deck of Vorobyovy Gory in Moscow and at Victory Park in St. Petersburg.

The Sretensky Monastery choir is one of Russia’s most famous musical ensembles. His unique performing style allows you to experience music in a whole new way. The ensemble has visited over 45 countries, performing at some of the world’s most famous venues.

Rosneft is an active participant in major cultural projects in Russia, with the aim of reviving and preserving spiritual and national values. The Company has supported projects of the State Hermitage Museum since 2018. With Rosneft’s support, the museum has opened a renovated exhibition entitled «Culture and Art of China» and restored the Gallery of the Department of Antiquities. Rosneft has also been the general sponsor of the White Steamboat children’s music festival since 2022.

With the Company’s support, artists from the Mariinsky Theatre performed Valery Gergiev’s production of One Thousand and One Nights in Qatar, a concert dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Alexandra Pakhmutova was held in Volgograd, and several exhibitions were organised at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre in Moscow. With the support of Rosneft, Tatiana Navka’s ice shows «Evenings on a Farm» and «The Nutcracker» were staged in Moscow in 2023-2024, while «The Love Story of Scheherazade» toured the Indian city of Ahmedabad.
