Samara Rosneft Enterprises Recognised as Leaders in Social Responsibility

Samara Neftehimproekt and Samara Neftegaz won the XXV Russian National Competition «Russian Organisation with High Social Efficiency».

Samara Neftehimproekt Scientific Institute was awarded the Grand Prix of the competition and took first place in the categories «For the development of human resources in non-manufacturing organisations» and «For the support of employees who are parents of large families and their children in non-manufacturing organisations». The Samara Neftegaz production facility came third in the category «Best conditions for employees with family responsibilities in manufacturing companies».

The awards were presented to the winners and runners-up by Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for Social Policy. The competition aims to draw public attention to the importance of addressing social issues at an organisational level and to identify the best social projects.

Adhering to the principles of social responsibility, Rosneft pays special attention to creating a favourable social environment at its enterprises and in the regions of operation.

The extensive list of social programmes includes ensuring safe and comfortable working conditions, voluntary health insurance, rehabilitation of health centres, support for motherhood and childhood, sports activities, preferential mortgage lending and assistance in solving housing problems, improving the quality of life of employees and their families, and a company pension scheme.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has been organising the annual Russian Organisation of High Social Efficiency competition for 25 years. It is implemented in two stages — at regional and federal level, with the participation of tripartite commissions for the regulation of social and labour relations.

In 2024, the competition took place in 17 categories. Over two thousand applications were submitted to the regional level and over 500 to the national level. Sixty-one organisations from 65 regions won awards in the competition.
